- Viessmann has acquired 50 percent of the shares of Digital Energy Solutions from the German car manufacturer BMW Group.
- Viessmann therefore becomes the sole owner of the former 50/50 joint venture, which has its headquarters in Munich.

Since 2016, Digital Energy Solutions has been offering holistic solutions for sustainable and crosssectoral energy management in the areas of electricity, heat and mobility with the purpose of realizing the individual optimum of sustainability, security of supply and economic efficiency for its customers. To this end, Digital Energy Solutions provides a broad energy industry portfolio that includes complementary energy market products for the hardware of the energy transformation, e.g. battery storage devices, heat pumps, photovoltaic systems and charging solutions, and enables businesses to become players themselves in the electricity market of the future.
With the complete takeover of all shares of the company, Viessmann confirms the high relevance and commitment to the development of integrated, power-based energy solutions and will continue to pursue the path taken together with the experts from Digital Energy Solutions in the future.
Digital Energy Solutions currently has around 700 business-to-business customers and approximately 800 charging points under contract, as well as over 30,000 electricity, heat and mobility customers through white label and co-branding partnerships. This also includes the members of the energy community ViShare offered by the Viessmann Group.
